Noone knows the future but when you are projecting p/e of 18 in 2028, the biggest question at that point is if Lumentum can manage to remain its moat in this space. I would assume that competition will eventually also be able to offer decent alternatives. Abd that is probably the biggest risk here. Similar like why Nvidia is still so "cheap" in terms of furure p/e.
Looks like a fun trip. I’m still not entirely sure how much people actually learn by visiting an exhibition vs just scrolling online. Basically same info, except you get the phenomenology of seeing the metals in person and all at once. I’m sure the conversations will generate some insights too, depending on who you bump into and questions you had for them.
